Cyber Saftey is trying to be safe on the internet and is the act of maximizing a user's awareness of personal safety and security risks to private information and property associated with using the internet, and the self-protection from computer crime.

Copyright is a legal term describing ownership of control of the rights to the use and distribution of certain works of creative expression, including books, video, movies, music and computer programs.

Copyright protects:

  • musical works (& accompanying words)
  • dramatic works (& accompanying music)
  • pantomimes and choreographed works.
  • pictorial, graphic, & sculptural works.
  • motion pictures & other audiovisual works.
  • sound recordings.
  • architectural works.
  • If you want to avoid being copyrighted from using another's work then, you should always assume that the work is copyrighted in the first place. Always ask for permission from the owner. Or you can follow copyright laws and understnad the circumstances.Sometimes the best solution is not using the copyrighted work itself at all.

    In many locations such as coffee shops, shopping malls, hotels, and airports. They all offer something in common. Which is free wifi to customers use. Its a great way to check emails, use the internet for work, or just use the wifi to pass the time. HOWEVER, cyber criminals and hackers will often spy on public wifi and collect and intercept data and can be transfered through the link. Criminals will be able steal valuable information.

  • Use a VPN (virtual private network).
  • Avoid logging into websites where there’s a chance that cybercriminals could capture your identity, passwords or personal information — such as social networking sites, online banking services or any websites that store your credit card information.
